Miss International Finland is here

This is a new vision. A new standard. A new era in the pageantry in Finland. 

The Miss International motto, “Cheer All Women,” is something we believe in wholeheartedly. We aim to create queens who use their voice to champion causes they care about while promoting the Miss International values of world peace, mutual understanding, and cultural exchange.

Taru Mäkipää, originally from Finland and based in the United Kingdom for the past ten years, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and has a professional background in marketing. She now works as a professional fashion and beauty photographer and has competed in pageants across both Finland and the UK. 

Mireia Roberts, originally from Spain and the United Kingdom, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a Master’s degree in Fashion Psychology. Combining her expertise competing in pageants, public relations and beauty, she is passionate about creating opportunities for our queens.

We first connected through the pageant community in the United Kingdom and soon realised we shared the same vision for empowering women. Through @SpotlightAtelier, we have worked with queens, models, and brands while building an international network that has given us unique insight into what it takes to succeed on the global stage.

This year Finland's representative is appointed to represent Finland at Miss International 2026. Looking ahead to 2027, our focus will be on developing a national programme that provides contestants with the training and support needed to grow into world-class representatives that use their voice to further their advocacies.
